Bacon and Egg Sauce

6 slices bacon
1 md. onion, chopped
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
5 eggs, hard-boiled and sliced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Fry, drain and crumble bacon. Reserve 2 tbsp. drippings. Add soup and milk and stir well. Gently stir in eggs and cheese and adjust seasoning. Spoon into 9-inch square baking pan. Top with crumbled bacon. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Serve on toast or English muffins.
