1 (3 lbs.) boneless beef rump or
chuck roast
1 env. brown gravy mix
1 env. ranch dressing mix
1 env. Italian seasoning
1/2 cup water

Instructions

Combine the envelopes and rub entire roast with it. Depending on the size of the roast, you may only use about 1/2 of the mix. Place in slow cooker and then add the water to the bottom of the cooker. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours, depending on the size of the roast.

excellent!!! very nice flavor, if you add some portabella mushrooms the last hour of cooking, it makes the a jus superb!!!

This was the best pot roast recipe I have ever made! I made it for Christmas dinner and it got rave reviews! I used the very flavorful drippings to make a gravy to accompany it with mashed potatoes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!
