1 pastry for a 1 crust pie
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
3 eggs lightly beaten
2 cups dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup pecan halves

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a 9-inch pie plate with the pastry. Combine the flour and sugar and add to the beaten eggs, beating well. Add the corn syrup, vanilla and pecans, stirring well to blend. Pour the pecan mixture into the pie shell and bake 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to 325°F and continue baking about 45 minutes.
