Hashbrown Casserole

2 lbs. frozen hash browns
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1-1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper


1 stick butter, melted
2 cups corn flakes (or tortilla chips), crushed


Combine ingredients in mixing bowl. Spoon into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Combine topping ingredients. Spread over mixture. Cover. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

A great and easy receipe...I threw in some bacon bits for a little extra flavor.
