15 Oreo Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
3 cups cold milk
2 pkg. JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 container (12 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed, divided
Decorations, such as Cameo Creme Sandwich Cookies, decorating gel, candy pumpkins and candy corn

Instructions

Crush chocolate sandwich cookies in large resealable plastic bag with rolling pin or in food processor. Pour milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Let stand 5 minutes. Gently stir in 3 cups of the whipped topping and half of the crushed cookies. Spoon into 13x9-inch dish; sprinkle with the remaining crushed cookies. Refrigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve.

Decorate creme sandwich cookies with decorating gel to resemble tombstones; stand up in top of dessert. Add candies. Drop remaining whipped topping by spoonfuls onto dessert to resemble ghosts. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.

Author's Comments

My kids love it when I make this! I've been using chocolate sandwich cookies with the chocolate cream inside, so the "ground" has no white bits in it, lol. I never make the Cool Whip ghosts, but I use Ghost Peeps. I also buy the bone candy that comes in little coffins to make skeletons poking out of the graveyard, and I use Milano cookies for the tombstones.

I'm sure with a little imagination, this could be changed to suit other holidays, as well. With different candies and decorations, etc...you could use the vanilla sandwich cookies and vanilla pudding, sprinkled with a little powdered sugar for a "snowy" ground and decorate for Christmas, or sprinkled with green tinted coconut for spring/summer occasions. Use your imagination!
