4 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup whole-wheat flour
1/4 cup chopped dates, or
raisins
2 tsp. honey
1/2 tsp. salt
5 cups water

Instructions

Mix the oats, flour, dates, raisins or honey, and salt in a large bowl. Add the water to make a batter. Pour the batter into a blender in batches until the consistency is smooth. (Or process all at once in a food processor.) Cook for 8 to 10 minutes in a waffle iron set on high.
