1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 bottle (8 oz.) French Dressing (can use low fat)
1 pkg. onion soup mix
4 to 8 chicken breasts

Instructions

Mix together and put in freezer bag with chicken (can use boneless, skinless breast). Make sure to lie bag flat in freezer, put nothing on top until it freezes. Defrost, put in pan, bake about 45 minutes at 350°F, or until done.

Author's Comments

I like to make more and keep it on hand to use later. Can serve with rice and peas or noodles. This is a very easy recipe and good to keep on hand.

I originally got this recipe from my mother in law years ago. Don't be put off by the wierd ingredients. It is a VERY easy dish which is also pretty and flavorfull. I don't even bother with the freezing. I just put the uncooked chicken breasts in a baking dish, mix the other 3 ingredients and pour it on top.

I had lost this receipe--so glad to find it. The version I had, you marinated the chicken overnight then baked it the next day. Super simple and really good!
