11-2/3 fl. oz. cream
Sweet basil, to taste
Mushrooms, to taste
Bacon, to taste
3 to 4 spring onions, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese, grated
Fettucine

Instructions

Dice bacon and slice mushrooms into smallish pieces. Lightly fry for a few minutes until they are approximately half cooked. Add the cream, basil and any spices; simmer on low heat. Meanwhile, cook fettucine according to package directions. The cream will simmer down and turn a light brownish colour. About 90 seconds before the fettucine is ready, add spring onions. Serve immediately on top of the pasta. Grate Parmesan on top for added flavor.
