Snickerdoodles

A chewy cinnamon-sugary treat!

Time

Ingredients

Ingredients

2-3/4 cup Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 cup Butter softened
1-1/2 cup Sugar
2 tbs)
2 Eggs
2 tsp. Cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Sift together Flour, Baking Powder, and Salt(for extra cinnamon-y cookies add an extra half tsp of cinnamon).

In a bowl whip together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, takes about three minutes. Add in the eggs one at a time.

Slowly begin to incorporate the flour.

Roll the dough into balls, mine were various sizes. But in each batch they were the same approximate size to ensure proper cooking.

Mix together the two tsp of cinnamon and two tabs of sugar, roll the dough balls in the sugar/cinnamon.

Bake for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy the awesome cinnamony goodness!

Author's Comments

When I was a little one, my dear old dad would make me cinnamon and sugar toast, and as a child it was my favorite thing ever! Mine never comes close, no matter what. It just isn't the same. I've found this recipe reminds me of his perfect cinnamon and sugar toast, and takes me back to my childhood.
