SERVINGS
1 recipe scale / convert
INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter softened or hard margarine softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup finely chopped candied cherries, red and green
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup flaked coconut
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix first 7 ingredients together well. Shape into 2 rolls 2 inches in diameter. Add a bit more milk if too dry to hold together.
Roll in coconut. Cover and chill overnight. Next day slice 1/4 inch thick. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 F. oven for about 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
