3 dozen scale / convert


1-1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup M&M's® plain chocolate candy
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt


Heat oven to 375°F. Mix brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 3-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Press 3-4 additional candies into each cookie if desired. Bake until light brown for 6-8 minutes. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack.
