Mexican Layer Dip

12 to 16 servings scale / convert
1 can (15 oz.) refried beans
1 pint sour cream
1 packet taco meat mix
1 sm. onion, very finely diced
2 cups cheese
2 cups lettuce
1 lg. tomato, seeded and finely diced
1 can (4 oz.) black olives, sliced
Mix together sour cream and taco meat mix. Using a large casserole or Pyrex pan, spread the can of beans over the bottom of the pan. Add the sour cream mixture and spread evenly. Then sprinkle with onion, cheese, lettuce, tomato and olives. Chill and serve. Serve with tortilla chips.
This is the most popular addition to any party I've ever had.
