CHEF COMMENTS
This is one side dish that we always make for Thanksgiving & Christmas it just would not be the holidays with out having this as a side dish. It was one of the dishes that I hated as a kid but love and remember now!!

I agree with the Chef...my daughter says Christmas would not be right without this recipe. I also like to add some nuts in the center of the casserole, gives a little extra. This is a super recipe.

I served this at a pre-Thanksgiving dinner, and the most common comments were that it "tasted like home" or "brought a serious sense of nostalgia". It tastes exactly like you'd expect a green bean casserole at Thanksgiving to taste like. Thanks Einar!
