Balsamic Honey-Glazed Salmon
“A quick and easy way to spice up your salmon - or it sweeten up, I should say!”
SERVINGS
1 servings scale / convert
INGREDIENTS
1 part balsamic vinegar to 2 parts honey (I used 1 & 2 Tablespoons, for one salmon fillet)
15 seconds to make it more liquid, and stir in the balsamic vinegar.
2 tbsp. of Dijon mustard
2-2/3 tbsp. pepper, and 3/4 tsp. salt.
1 clove garlic if desired!
INSTRUCTIONS
This is so quick - I use a small bit of olive oil to first fillet the salmon skin down (I don't like leaving the skin on, so I cook it on medium for about a minute in the olive oil, which loosens the skin).
I then remove the salmon from the skillet, and remove the skin, which usually separates pretty easily with a knife.
I then place the fillet back on the skillet, making sure there's a small amount of olive oil still there. Then, I take my mixed glaze and brush it over the salmon. This usually only takes about ten minutes, depending on the temperature you'd like!
