INGREDIENTS

1 loaf (24 slices) cocktail dill or pumpernickel bread
4 tbsp. Thousand Island dressing, to taste
8 slices pastrami, fat trimmed and cut into thirds
1 small can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
6 slices swiss cheese, quartered

INSTRUCTIONS

Spread bread slices with 1/2 tsp. dressing each. Top with pastrami, then divide sauerkraut among slices (about 1 to 1-1/2 tsp. of sauerkraut each). Top with Swiss cheese and bake in preheated 350°F oven for 12-14 minutes. Serve immediately.
