Strawberry Pie

INGREDIENTS

1 Baked pie shell
4 c Strawberries
3/4 c Sugar
2 tb Cornstarch
1 1/2 c Water
1 pk (3 oz) strawberry jello

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1-1/2 cups water. Bring to boil and stir until thick and clear. Add 1 3 oz package of strawberry jello. Cool slightly. Put the 4 cups sliced strawberries in baked pie shell. Pour the cooled jello mixture over strawberries and refrigerate at least 3 hours.

20 minutes prep does not include baking of the shell. I added whole strawberries standing up for the top of the pie, looks great and is fresh tasting. July 13, 2008
