Strawberry Pie

Servings: 8 servings
INGREDIENTS
1-1/2 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 quart fresh strawberries
1 9-inch baked pie crust
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine water, sugar and cornstarch. Boil together for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add strawberry gelatin and lemon juice. Cool slightly and and add fresh strawberries. Pour into cooled 9" baked pie crust. Serve with whipped cream or instant vanilla pudding.
CHEF COMMENTS
When using frozen strawberries, increase cornstarch to 3 Tbsp. and gelatin to 4-1/2 Tbsp.
