INGREDIENTS

8 oz. butter
8 oz. brown sugar
8 oz. self-rising flour
2 tsp. baking powder
4 large eggs

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream together butter and sugar Add sieved flour and baking powder Add eggs and give mixture a quick beat. Pour into a greased 8-inch square cake tin and bake in oven 350°F for 65 minutes. Turn out onto wire tray.
