Red Cabbage with Apples

INGREDIENTS
2 lb Red cabbage, shredded
3/4 c Boiling water
3 lg Cooking apples, sliced
3 tb Butter or margarine, melted
1/4 c Vinegar
1 1/2 ts Flour
1/4 c Packed brown sugar
2 ts Salt
ds Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Place cabbage in a large saucepan. Add boiling water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add apples and cook for 10 minutes or until tender. Add remaining ingredients and heat through.
