Farm Stand Fruit Mix

INGREDIENTS

An assortment of fresh fruit from (preferably) the local farmer's market - a total of 5-8 pounds

A couple oranges and a pink grapefruit, in sections

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut peaches in half, then in wedges; cut melons in half, discard seeds, scoop bite-sized pieces with a spoon; remove seeds from cherries or grapes; remove stems from strawberries; etc. Place all the fruit in a large bowl*. Carefully stir in the orange and grapefruit sections. Cover and chill. Can be prepared one day in advance.

CHEF COMMENTS

* If you are using apples or bananas, add them just before serving.
