Creamed Sausage Over Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

4 lg. biscuits, sliced in half
8 oz. breakfast sausage, casing removed and crumbled.
10 oz. mushrooms, quartered
3 tbsp. water
2 cups milk
3 tbsp. flour

INSTRUCTIONS

Brown sausage in pan about 6 minutes. Remove sausage from pan to drain off the fat and keep warm. Add the mushrooms and water. Saute until brown. Whisk in milk and the flour until thick. Add the sausage and reheat. Pour over sliced biscuits and serve.
