Cherry Upside-Down Cake

INGREDIENTS
2 cans (21 oz.) Cherry Pie Filling
1 box devil's food cake mix
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 350°F. Prepare cake according to package directions. Pour one can cherry filling into each of two 8x8" square pans or two 8" round baking pans. Spread evenly. Pour batter over cherries, dividing equally between the two pans. Bake 40-50 minutes or until toothpick tests clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert onto serving plate. Serve warm or cool.
