Cream Puff Cake

INGREDIENTS

1 cup water
1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup flour
4 eggs
4 cups milk
3 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat water and butter until melted, then stir in flour. Let cool completely. Stir in 4 eggs, one at a time, unbeaten. Grease and flour a 13x9 pan. Spread mixture on bottom and little up the sides. Bake for 35 minutes at 375°F. Pastry will puff up like a cream puff. Let cool completely.

Mix pudding and milk until thick. Add cream cheese. Pour over cooled crust. Cover with cool whip. Can drizzle with chocolate syrup. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.

CHEF COMMENTS

Can also be made with chocolate pudding or bananna pudding and sliced bannanas.
