The second ingredient: 2 cups hot water. Is this in addition to the water used to make the Jello? July 9, 2000

Hi Ryan -
You are right!!! The 2 cups of hot water are not additional. The water is used to make the Jello. Thanks! July 10, 2000

I made the recipe but honestly don't remember for sure... But I don't think that was in addition to the water made to use the jello -- I think that was the only water used. Hope this is helpful... July 9, 2000
