Hari Hari Yakhni (Peas and Paneer)

Servings:

INGREDIENTS

2 cups raw peas, shelled and coarsely ground
300 grams paneer, cubed and fried
250 grams tomato, puréed and strained
4 tbsp. oil or ghee

Grind:
3 onions
1/2 clove garlic
1/2-inch ginger
3 green chilies
2 tbsp. coriander leaves
12 cashew nuts
6 cardamoms
6 cloves
1 tsp. coriander seeds
Salt, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oil and fry the ground masala for approximately 7 minutes. Add tomato purée and fry some more. Add ground peas and keep stirring. Add 2 cups warm water and cook until peas are tender. Before serving, add fried paneer cubes.
