Applesauce Doughnuts

SERVINGS

INGREDIENTS

1-1/2 tbsp. butter
1-1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup applesauce
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. baking powder

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs and add. Mix dry ingredients together. Add to egg mixture, with applesauce. Mix well. Fry in deep fat for 3 to 5 minutes at 375°F. Remove and drain on paper.
