Vodka Spaghetti Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 jar prepared spaghetti sauce
1/4 cup vodka
1 tsp. oregano
3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix all ingredients. and heat over a medium flame, stirring constantly so the mixture does not boil or curdle.

CHEF COMMENTS

The sauce is an orange/pink when you are done and the vodka is only a very light flavoring that most can not name as vodka.

This is one of my favorite spaghetti sauses. I like to fry x-amount of mushrooms in butter, springle some worchester sause over the mushrooms at the end of the frying. Add the mushrooms and 1 fine chopped red chilli to the sause. Also add one teaspoon of sugar
to reduse the bitterness of the tomatoes + three gloves of garlic. Have some raw cherry tomatoes on top before serving. June 29, 2004
