Green Bean Casserole

INGREDIENTS

1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. soy sauce
3 cups french style green beans (can or frozen)
1 can french fried onion
1 dash white pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a 1-quart casserole dish stir in mushroom soup and soy sauce. Add green beans and stir to blend. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Top with french fried onions and bake for 5 more minutes.

CHEF COMMENTS

This is one side dish that we always make for Thanksgiving & Christmas it just would not be the holidays with out having this as a side dish. It was one of the dishes that I hated as a kid but love and remember now!!

I agree with the Chef...my daughter says Christmas would not be right without this recipe. I also like to add some nuts in the center of the casserole, gives a little extra. This is a super recipe. June 25, 2002
