Brussels Sprouts Piquant

INGREDIENTS
1/4 onion, sliced
1/3 tbsp. canola oil
6-2/3 oz. frozen brussels sprouts
2/3 tbsp. flour
1/3 cup tomato juice
1/3 tsp. sugar
Salt, to taste
1/16 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. cheddar cheese, shredded
INSTRUCTIONS
Sauté onion in oil; remove and put in casserole dish with brussels sprouts. To onion drippings, add flour; mix well. Add tomato juice, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour thickened sauce over sprouts. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or microwave for 5 minutes.
