Cereal Party Snack

Servings: 2 quarts

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 drops hot pepper sauce
1 can (12-14 oz.) salted mixed nuts
1 cup pretzel sticks, short, thin
4 cups assorted unsweetened cereal
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 dash garlic powder

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 250°F (very slow). Melt fat in a large baking pan in oven. Remove pan from oven; stir Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauces into melted fat. Stir in nuts and pretzels; add cereals and mix well. Sprinkle with seasonings; stir. Heat uncovered in oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve warm or cooled. Store cooled cereal snack in lightly closed containers. If snack needs recrisping, reheat in slow oven for a few minutes.

Plain puffed cereals and bite-sized cereals may be used in this recipe.
