Braunschweiger Spread

SERVINGS
1 batches scale / convert
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. Braunschweiger sausage
2 tbsp. dill pickle juice
3 drops hot sauce (or to taste)
8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature (divided)
1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (or to taste)
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped (or more to taste)
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix Braunschweiger sausage, mayonnaise, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic salt and 1/3 of the cream cheese. Blend until smooth. Mix in the chopped pickles and onions. Spray bowl with vegetable spray; pack meat mixture into bowl.
When ready to serve, bring remaining cream cheese to room temperature. Unmold meat and frost with the cream cheese. Place on serving plate and serve with crackers or cocktail rye bread.
