Garlic-Parmesan Crisps

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tsp. garlic salt
4 pita bread
3 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
2 tsp. dried basil

INSTRUCTIONS

In a small bowl, mix butter and garlic salt until well blended. Split each pita in half to make two rounds. Spread each with butter mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan and basil. Cut each round into 6 wedges; place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325°F for 8-10 minutes or until crisp.

This is a terrific recipe. The only thing I changed is using garlic powder instead of garlic salt. September 8, 2005
