INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsulphured molasses
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1-1/2 cup milk
4 cups peeled, grated raw yams
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine sugar, molasses, butter, spices and salt. Add milk and eggs. Stir in yams, mixing thoroughly. Pour into greased 1-1/2 qt. casserole. Bake at 350°F for 1-1/2 hours. Serve warm or cold with cream.
