Kahlua Cake

INGREDIENTS

1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup kahlua
3/4 cup oil
1 cup chocolate chips

Glaze:
1 cup sugar, sifted
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. hot water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Kahlua, as desired

INSTRUCTIONS

Beat all ingredients except chocolate chips for 3 to 5 minutes or until smooth. Add 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour into a Bundt pan (sprayed with Pam or greased). Bake for 50-60 minutes at 350°F.

Glaze:
Combine sugar with cocoa and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add hot water and stir until butter is melted and smooth. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Add Kahlua, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistancy is reached (thick to runny). Pour over warm cake.

When ever I make this cake and take it to work everyone fights over it. It's the best. You don't even have to eat it - just the smell of if drives everyone crazy. October 3, 2004
