BOM Quiche

INGREDIENTS

8” or 9” Pie Plate, spray with nonstick oil of choice
1 pie crust; premade or home made

Ingredients:
Bacon 5 or 6 strips cooked and crumbled
½ c. chopped onion
1 package sliced mushrooms
1 T. chopped garlic
1 T. butter
2 T. red or white wine
1 C. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6-8 eggs (depends on the size of the eggs
1/4 C. ½ and ½ milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1/8th tsp. fresh ground nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS

Cook onions mushrooms and garlic in fry pan w/olive oil until well brown. Add wine in the middle of cooking and finish with the butter

Using an 8” or 9” Pie Plate, spray with nonstick oil of choice and place pie crust in and crimp edges
Beat milk, eggs, ½ and ½, and spices well with electric hand mixer

Crumble bacon on bottom of pie crust and add cooked BOM mixture on top.

Sprinkle ½ of cheese on top

Add egg mixture
Top with the remainder of the cheese

Bake at 350-375 degrees

Bake about 40 to 45 min. until done in the center; check with a knife
Cover with foil if cheese is getting too brown.
