Hot Pepper Pasta

INGREDIENTS

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 large can tomatoes, chopped fine
2-4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb hickory smoked pepper bacon, chopped, cooked, and drained
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Fresh Romano or Parmesan
1 1 lb bag Shell Pasta

INSTRUCTIONS

Saute garlic in oil until tender. Add tomatoes, juice and all. Cook down until sauce is very thick.

About 15 minutes before the sauce is thickened enough, add red pepper and bacon. Cook the pasta.

After draining the pasta, put it back in the pan then mix in the sauce. Dish up. Garnish with cheese. Serve with garlic bread.

Dad got this one from the Italian wife of a guy he used to work with when we lived in Tokyo.
