Chocolate Walnut Fudge

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup butter - 3 cups sugar-pinch of salt-2/3 cup evaporated milk-2 cups semi sweet chocolate pieces(12 oz bag)-1 1/2 cups marshmallow cream(7oz jar)-i teaspoon vanilla-1 cup fresh chopped walnuts

INSTRUCTIONS

combine butter, sugar,salt and evaporated milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir constantly and continue boiling over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove pan from heat and stir in chocolate chips until completely melted.Add marshmallow cream,vanilla and nuts.Stir until well mixed.Pour into a 9"x13"pan lined with parchment paper.(leave some paper over the edge of the pan to make it easy to lift out later) Cool at room temperature. Once cool lift fudge out of the pan and cut into 1" squares

this is a foolproof recipe that is simple to make. I copied this out of a church recipe book at least 15 yrs ago
