Hot Fudge Sundae Cake

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup all-purpose flour
1/2 Cup of granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. baking cocoa
2 Tsp. baking powder
1/2 Tsp. salt
1/2 Cup of milk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tsp. vanilla
1/2 Cup chopped nuts
3/4 Cup of packed brown sugar
1/4 Cup baking cocoa
1 1/2 Cups of hot water

INSTRUCTIONS

Spray inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix flour, sugar, 2 Tbsp. cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Stir in milk, oil and vanilla until smooth. Stir in the nuts. Spread batter evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker. Mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa in a small bowl. Stir in hot water until smooth. Pour evenly over the batter in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high heat setting for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Turn off the cooker and let the cake stand uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes. If desired add your favorite ice cream.
