Servings: 1 pound

INGREDIENTS

1 pound boneless pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
1/3 cup Kikkoman soy sauce
1/4 cup minced green onions (scallions) & tops
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon sesame seed, toasted
3 tablespoons water
1 ½ teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce
1 clove garlic, minced

INSTRUCTIONS

Slice pork into 1/4 inch thick strips. Place pork in a large Ziploc storage bag and return to refrigerator while preparing marinade.

Whisk all ingredients (except pork) together in a medium-large bowl. Pour mixture over pork that is in the bag. Seal bag and knead pork around in the marinade. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Transfer pork out of marinade and into a shallow baking pan. Set oven rack to middle of oven and broil pork on high for 3 minutes. Remove from oven, turn pork over, and continue broiling for an additional 2 or 3 minutes, or until pork is cooked through.
