Joe's Kentucky Style Peach Cobbler

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup Flour
½ Cup Sugar
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
¼ Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Milk
5-6 Cups Peaches, peeled and sliced
1-1 ½ Cups Sugar (depending on sweetness of peaches)
¼ Cup Butter

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix the first 4 ingredients dry and then add milk. Stir thoroughly and pour into baking dish. Combine sugar with peach slices. Spoon peaches into the dish on top of the batter. Dot with butter and bake for about 1 hour until “crust” browns.
