Pepper Boursin

INGREDIENTS

8 ounces cream cheese or neufchatel cheese, softened
4 ounces butter, room temperature
1-2 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper or cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine ingredients and chill before serving to blend flavors. Serve softened at room temperature.

CHEF COMMENTS

A bit more peppery than regular boursin, but the flavor is quite nice. Serve with crackers or chopped raw vegetables.
