INGREDIENTS
4 eggs
1-1/2 cup sugar
4 oz. butter, melted
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 cups milk or half & half
Toska Frosting
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk, half & half or buttermilk
1/2 lb. finely chopped almonds
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 347°F Beat eggs and sugar untill foamy. Combine the dry ingredients and add them alone with melted butter and milk or half & half. Pour into large greased 12x15-inch pan and bake until the surface starts to gain color and remove from oven
Mix all the frosting ingredients together in saucepan and cook until the mixture boils. Pour frosting over half baked crust and return to oven. Bake till the frosting is golden brown. Remove from oven, cool and cut into squares.
