BBQ Oysters on the Half Shell

INGREDIENTS

1 dozen oysters,opened and on the half shell.
1/4 cup BBQ sauce,Home made or store bought
Chopped parsley for garnish
lemon wedges for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the opened oysters right on the hot grill and brush them with the BBQ sauce. Let them grill for about 5-8 minutes or until they just start to curl. Garnish with chopped parsley and give them a shot of lemon juice.

CHEF COMMENTS

Here is a great cook out appetizer! It's quick except for opening the oysters.

OK Einar,
They were easy to make and real good to eat. I added some chopped cooked bacon before I served them. Oyster's are not that cheap to buy up here but this recipe was well worth paying the price for. September 4, 2005
