My Favorite Dump Cake

INGREDIENTS

1 can (22 oz) cherry pie filling
1 can (15 oz) pineapple chunks, drained
1 box dry cake mix, white or lemon
(Like 18.25 oz Duncan Hines)
1 can coconut (3-1/2 oz)
1 cup chopped nuts or 2 cups better,
(macadamias is the best)

1 cup melted butter

INSTRUCTIONS

Lightly grease a 9x13-inch glass Pyrex dish or SS pan. Spread ingredients in layers in order listed. Pat down lightly, DO NOT MIX. Bake in a 325°F oven for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or cold with or without wiped cream or ice cream.

CHEF COMMENTS

I know it comes from a box/can but it keeps good on the shelf for a long period of time. Also can be made within 2 hours of dinner. And it's good... a bachelor's special!
