Quick Chow Mein

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients~~
1 onion
¼ large cabbage
2 stalks celery
1 Tablespoon oil
500 grams ( 1 lb) minced beef OR chicken
¼ cup short grain rice
2 teaspoons prepared curry powder
1 packet chicken noodle soup mix
227 gram can pineapple pieces in juice or syrup
2 cups water
¼ cup ready cooked chicken shredded (*)
1 cup chopped green beans fresh or frozen)

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oil in a skillet. Add onion and cabbage. Add meat and cook until browned, breaking the meat up as it cooks. Add rice, curry powder, soup mix, celery, pineapple chunks (with juice) and water. Add cabbage, beans and chicken, cook for another 5 minutes. Serve over fluffy rice.
