Sauteed Pork and Snow Peas

INGREDIENTS

2 tbps. vegetable oil,2 cloves garlic, 1 small onion,chopped, imedium tomato sliced, 2 cups snowpeas, ends trimmed, 1 to 2 tbps. water, 1 tbps. oyster sauce, salt and pepper to taste, i small red bel pepper diced, 1/2 lb pork loin cut in strips.

INSTRUCTIONS

In a medium skillet heat vegetable oil. Add sauteed garlic and pork; cook pork until no longer pink. Add onion and cook until transparent. Add tomatoes, cover and cook for 10 minutes in medium-high heat.

Add snow peas, bell pepper, water, oyster sauce, salt and pepper; cook uncovered for another 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp tender.

CHEF COMMENTS

It is a a fast and easy dish that I put together when I used to live in Hawaii. For me it's delicious because of the Chinese flavor on it. I suggest that you don't overcook the snowpeas, when they become soggy it's not going to be good.
