Chicken Chow Mein

Servings:

INGREDIENTS

1 cup rice
6 large onions
soy sauce
Mee Tu Chinese noodles
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 green pepper, cut in strips
(optional)
3 chicken cutlets or leftover
boiled chicken

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil rice and set aside. Slice onions lengthwise and steam in large frying pan with cover. Add chicken, mushrooms, pepper and soy sauce to taste and keep covered until chicken is done. Serve with rice and noodles.

CHEF COMMENTS

For variety, beef, pork or shrimp can be substituted for the chicken.

Johanna, from your criticisms, I'd suggest perhaps you should review your own cooking first, undercooked vegetables, and mushy noodles are down to timing, and as angel didn't give these I'd suggest a touch of introspection before you just jump in there with the insults. October 19, 2004
