Caramel Corn

INGREDIENTS
2 cups brown suagr
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup margarine
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
8 qts. popped popcorn (about 1-1/2 c. unpopped)
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine sugars and margarine in a saucepan. Set timer for 5 minutes. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Margarine will be almost melted. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Beat well with a spoon. Put popped popcorn in a large turkey roaster. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir to coat. Bake at 250°F for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.
