Asparagus and Parmesan Quiche

INGREDIENTS
1 unbaked pie shell
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup to 1 cup cream
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
dash nutmeg
dash cayenne pepper
1/2 cup asparagus (cut into 1" pieces and crisp steamed)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Place beaten eggs in measuring cup and add cream to equal 1-1/2 cups. Place in mixing bowl and add cheese, spices and asparagus. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 300°F and cook 40 minutes more.
