Perfect Pecan Pie

INGREDIENTS

3-3 1/2 Cups Pecan halves
4 large eggs
1 Cup Brown Sugar
6 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup dark corn syrup
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pre made pastry crust

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 350°F. Chop up 2 cups of the pecan halves; set aside. Beat the eggs, corn syrup, butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until well blended (about 2 minutes). Add the chopped pecans and stir. Pour filling into the pastry shell. Add remaining pecan halves to top of pie filling and put into a concentric design. Bake for 70 minutes at 350°F.

Cool. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

This pie in unbelievably delicious!! It is a yearly ritual that I make this pie for the holidays. It is a HUGE hit!!!
